Kilsyth Festival 2022

The Kilsyth Festival was back on Sunday October 23 - and it was a wonderful day be back to celebrate our local community. It was fantastic to meet so many local families and community members! We had a very popular activity for kids (and adults!) planting sunflower and snow pea seeds to take home.

Gladesville Primary School's blue marquee with the school name and logo. The 8 Leader In Me Habits are across the front of the marquee looking like colourful bunting. Two folding tables are set up with a seed planting activity.

A white paper cup two thirds filled with soil has two pale green sunflower sprouts unfurling.
Sunflower seeds from the festival are already sprouting!

To all our new friends who planted seeds, don’t forget to water them each day and keep them in a sunny spot. You should be starting to see them sprout by now! When the seedlings have 3-4 leaves, plant them out in your garden and watch them grow 🌻🌻🌻

We’d love to see you at our next Fruit & Veg Garden Swap at the school on Friday November 4th at 3:45pm. For more details please see the event on our Facebook page.

We're already looking forward to next year's Kilsyth Festival in late October 2023!
